San Francisco, CA – Personal AI is proud to announce that James Poulin has joined as VP of Product, bringing 15+ years of product leadership across the enterprise, midmarket, SMB, and consumer spaces and a track record of inventing new technologies to ship innovative products to millions of users across Amazon, AT&T, and LivePerson.
James joins Personal AI after leading new product innovation at AT&T, where he created the company’s network-embedded AI platform and led early stage definition and development of AT&T Business Voice and the AT&T Guarantee. Prior to AT&T, James spent nearly a decade at Amazon in senior product roles where he brought Kindle to international audiences, built core reading experiences enjoyed by millions of consumers around the world, and helped Alexa make friends with other AIs. James also led product development at LivePerson, a conversational AI platform company now generating over $300 million in annual revenue, where he re-architected their developer experience and built several of the core AI products serving their telco and enterprise customers. This combination of telco execution, conversational AI platforms, and consumer product experience makes James uniquely positioned to scale Personal AI in the market.
At Personal AI, James will drive the overall product experience across both telco and enterprise markets, including web, mobile, and integrated experiences. James will lead and scale a product team of experienced builders who have already deployed instances of Personal AI at Fortune 500 companies, including several of the largest telcos in the world, and streamline the application interfaces to meet customer needs.
