Overview

• Personal AI develops an end-to-end platform that includes a full suite of applications (mobile, desktop, and browser) and integrations into 3rd party applications (e.g. Chrome, Slack, G-Suite)
• You will design and build scalable backend services and intuitive frontend interfaces for our core platform, focusing on robust RESTful APIs and customer-facing features
• You will collaborate directly with customers to gather feedback and translate their needs into technical solutions that drive enterprise growth

Responsibilities

• Work on the Solutions Engineering team, collaborating with the Customer Experience team to understand and implement both frontend and backend features
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Java and RESTful APIs
• Build intuitive user interfaces using Vue.js and TypeScript
• Work with MongoDB and PostgreSQL to design and optimize database solutions
• Build and maintain data ingestion pipelines for various file formats
• Create and maintain APIs to support AI model integration and enterprise features
• Participate in architectural discussions around cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP) and containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes
• Interface directly with customers to gather feedback and deliver customized solutions

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional full stack development experience
• Strong backend focus (approx. 70%) with proficiency in Python, Java, and RESTful API design
• Frontend development experience (approx. 30%) using TypeScript and Vue.js
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong communication skills with an ability to interact directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Fluent in English and clear in understanding and communicating with enterprise customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with AI/ML platforms
• Understanding of vector databases, semantic search, and AI/ML model integration
• Background in real-time data processing or distributed systems
• Knowledge of embeddings, semantic search, or data transformation pipelines
• Experience with Istio service mesh
