Role & Responsibilities:

• Lead user research and discovery initiatives to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points in AI-human interaction and the broader application layer of the personal AI platform.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to validate design decisions and user needs.
• Create and maintain user personas, journey maps, and mental models specific to AI-human interaction, tailored to the industries and enterprises we focus on, including legal, finance, healthcare, and various types of SMBs.
• Design and prototype intuitive interfaces for complex AI features (e.g., advanced data processing, training and deployment integrations), including templatized AI workflows based on use case for training and output, covering both AI training and deployment.
• Develop and maintain a scalable design system to ensure a consistent user experience across all platforms (web, mobile, and desktop).
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to deliver robust, user-centric features from concept to launch.
• Work with external partners to adapt Personal AI’s capabilities for new industries and use cases, ensuring the experience aligns with different business needs and user expectations (e.g., text-based and call-based interactions).

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of design experience in Digital Product Design, UX research, or a related field, with expertise in:
  
  • Conducting qualitative and quantitative research to inform design decisions
  • Developing user personas, journey maps, and mental models
• Have an available online portfolio – 
  
  • Proficient in prototyping complex, AI-driven user interfaces and workflows.
  • Experience with Figma, Sketch, or their functional equivalents
• Startup mindset – You thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and take initiative beyond your core role. Ideally, you’ve contributed to building products from 0 to 1.
• Passion for AI – You are deeply interested in AI’s impact on industries and eager to drive innovation.
• Strong problem-solving skills – You excel at simplifying complex workflows into intuitive, user-friendly experiences.
• Cross-functional collaboration – You communicate effectively with product, engineering, and external partners to bring user-centric solutions to life.
• Design systems expertise – Experience creating and maintaining scalable design systems across web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
• End to End Ownership - Take complete ownership of the user experience lifecycle from initial research, ideation, prototyping, and testing, to final implementation and iteration.
• Bonus – Experience designing AI-powered user experiences, working in enterprise SaaS, or building solutions for legal, finance, healthcare, or SMB tech. Familiarity with AI training and deployment workflows is a plus.
